Description

Maintaining proficiency in a second official language is an essential skill for federal government employees. This self-directed online learning product guides participants through self-evaluations, suggests appropriate language activities and provides guidance in the preparation of an individualized language learning plan. Participants will maintain or even improve their current competencies in either English (ESL) or French (FSL) as their second language at B and C levels in reading, writing and speaking. [C248]

  • establishment of an individual participant profile
  • finding a language coach
  • self-evaluation of second language reading and writing skills
  • identification of language competencies and objectives to improve upon
  • creation of a language learning plan
