This online course, designed and built by the Cyber Centre Learning Hub at the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, offers security practitioners an opportunity to acquire basic understanding of Information technologies (IT) security management. The course provides an overview of typical Government of Canada IT security program activities and introduces learners to the legal, policy, and business contexts for IT security, as well as the threat environment. By gaining an appreciation for the IT security context and program activities, learners will be better able to support IT security in the Government of Canada.
