As part of their daily responsibilities, executives in the public service must make sound decisions in compliance with the key legislation and policy frameworks governing their delegated authorities. This online self-paced assessment provides public service executives with helpful guidance on exercising their delegated authorities through a series of multi-faceted scenarios that build upon the course Authority Delegation Training (G110). Participants must complete the scenarios, exercises and validation questions in their entirety to complete this assessment.

  • functioning within the government's accountability framework
  • reviewing the responsibilities and roles of executives
  • leading and managing people
  • procuring and managing public funds, programs and assets
