Occupational Health Tips for Managers as COVID-19 Restrictions Ease

Description

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to broad changes in how we live and work. While some staff have continued to deliver critical services at worksites, most are working remotely. As public health restrictions start to ease and the economy re-opens, this is an opportune moment for public service managers to hear what they need to know for a gradual return to the workplace. While this may not happen for weeks or months, now is the time to plan how we may need to adapt our work environment to keep employees safe and healthy.

This session will take you through the Occupational Health Tool Kit: Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Workplaces in the Government of Canada's Core Public Administration, soon to be available on the COVID-19: Information for Government of Canada employees webpage. You will receive practical guidance that can be adapted to a range of circumstances across the public service. Topics will include occupational health considerations for personal preventive measures, building cleaning and barriers, changes in policies, and guidance around personal protective equipment.

The Canada School of Public Service is pleased to present this event, in collaboration with the National Managers' Community, on behalf of Health Canada's Public Service Occupational Health Program.

This event is part of the Easing of COVID-19 Restrictions in the Workplace Series.
