Career Boot Camp is a nationwide, interdepartmental learning event designed for public service professionals. It is hosted by the Federal Youth Network, the Canada School of Public Service and Shared Services Canada.
Under the theme Tools for Success, Career Boot Camp 2015 focuses on honing the competencies and skills needed to best perform at your current level, pursue your goals and develop a meaningful career in the public service.
Career Boot Camp 2015 features plenary sessions and interactive workshops led by guest speakers and experienced colleagues of all levels. Together, participants will learn the skills and values public servants of the future will need, how to succeed at any stage of a public service career, how to engage in effective virtual collaboration and much more. Consult the national program for an overview of the day's discussions and activities.
The event will take place simultaneously in Vancouver, Halifax and Gatineau. With a nation-wide broadcast linking the three cities and allowing participation regardless of location, Career Boot Camp is a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues across Canada and to learn from them as you plan your next steps as a public servant.
