Conversation Workshops in English as a Second Language
The Canada School of Public Service offers conversation workshops to help learners maintain their second-language skills. To achieve this, participants will discuss current issues affecting the public service under the supervision of an English-language learning specialist.
Because all activities are conducted in English, participants must have an adequate understanding of the language to fully participate in the discussions.
These activities are offered to all federal public service employees at no cost to learners.
Topic:
Building an Innovative Public Service
What would a public service driven by a culture of innovation look like? What type of mindset do we need to encourage new ideas? How do we use our skills to build the public service capacity for innovation while maintaining a healthy balance between stability and innovation?
Join this French session to reflect on this key government objective to better serve Canadians and contribute to strategically position Canada as a global centre for innovation.
This discussion can have a meaningful impact on how you influence the future of our country as a public servant.
