International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2015

International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2015

Include, accommodate, innovate

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2015, under the theme Moving from Discussion to Action: Leveraging Vari-abilities Today and Tomorrow, is an occasion to promote the integration of persons with disabilities, to better understand the various issues that affect them and to move towards implementing the support they need.

Just as inclusion is key to our country's success, it is critical to the future of the public service. Including persons with disabilities lays the foundation for a b, merit-based federal public service that reflects Canada's diversity.

Festivities marking IDPD 2015 include a national panel discussion broadcast from Ottawa to viewers across Canada, as well as eight regional events taking place in Halifax, Québec, Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Come celebrate with us and be part of an inclusive federal public service!
