Power Chat: Implementing a Psychological Health and Safety Management System
In 2013, the Mental Health Commission of Canada published the National Standard of Canada on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, and in 2014, its companion guide, Assembling the Pieces. These reports outline how to develop a psychological health and safety management system for the workplace.
It will soon be possible to tailor this system to the federal public service workplaces based on the recommendations from the third Technical Committee Report to the Steering Committee on Mental Health in the Workplace. This report, Building Success: Guide to Establishing and Maintaining a Psychological Health and Safety Management System in the Federal Public Service (the Guide), will be published soon.
Join us for this presentation where members of the Joint Task Force on Mental Health in the Workplace will provide an overview of the guide and the consultations that led to the final product.
