One of the ongoing objectives of the Labour Relations (LR) Council is to provide various opportunities that will address the current and future learning needs of the LR community while promoting a forum for networking and the sharing of latest trends and best practices.

This learning event will be based on performance management, in support of the new Directive on Performance Management that came into effect on April 1, 2014. The following topics will be covered:

  • Possible challenges faced by LR advisors while supporting managers in dealing with performance management cases
  • Key observations and decisions of interest in relation to performance management
  • Practical simulation exercise (scenario and discussion)
  • Understanding human dynamics
