Mental Health at Work: Let's Talk
Across Canada, open discussions about mental health are raising awareness, fighting stigma, improving access to care and bolstering the well-being of all Canadians, both at home and in the workplace. Join the conversation at this special event, held in partnership with the National Managers' Community!
On January 31, special guest Dr. Oren Amitay will explore ways we can support each other and create positive mental health at work. Dr. Amitay is a registered psychologist and media consultant who believes that a greater sense of control over our environment—both internal and external—is a key life goal for all of us, whether we're aware of it or not.
Event Information
This session will take place in two parts: a session in Toronto that will be webcast nationwide (1 hour) and an on-site workshop (1 to 1.5 hours, depending on location). Participants outside of Toronto can register for the webcast only, which is accessible across Canada, or for one of the viewing centres listed below, where the webcast session will be followed by an on-site workshop. The workshop format may vary by location.
This learning activity is designed for all public servant groups and levels and is offered at no cost.
