Managers and Students Connection Event
You are invited to attend an energetic networking and recruiting opportunity that will bring together engaged managers and students who are completing their summer work terms in the federal public service. This recruitment and discovery of young talent event will familiarize participants with their public service career options, allowing them to promote themselves and build professional relationships.
The program for the day includes:
- remarks from Lauren Hunter, Director, and Valerie Thomas, Lead, from the Talent Mobility and Credentials, Talent Cloud Team at Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat
- a presentation from the Public Service Commission with a chance to ask questions
- career stories from experienced and successful public servants from across Canada, who will share some tips for success
This event is organized in partnership with the National Managers' Community, the Federal Youth Network and the Canada School of Public Service.

This learning activity is designed for all managers and students and is offered at no cost. The registration deadline for all locations is August 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm (EDT).
