Public Service Pride Week Events

The sixth annual Public Service Pride Week will take place from August 19 to 23, 2024.

This year's theme, "Unity in Diversity," underscores the federal public service's commitment to fostering inclusion and unity in the face of adversity. Throughout the week, a series of events, including the Public Service Pride Awards, will expand on this theme with meaningful discussions, creativity, and calls to action. Together, we will celebrate the sense of belonging in the public service across 2SLGBTQIA+ and intersecting identities.

This event series will feature employees with different lived experiences, who will come together to share their voices and their stories as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and allies in the federal public service.

Participants will learn about the Two-Spirit identity, building an intersectional public service, how to use personal storytelling to push for change, and how to be a stronger, more active ally.

This event series is presented in partnership with the Public Service Pride Network. In addition to these events, other federal organizations will host independently organized events that will be open to all public servants.
