Quantum computing is a disruptive technology that has the potential to revolutionize government, security, and the workings of society. It is estimated that the global market for quantum computing hardware will exceed $7.1 billion by 2026.
This event builds on our popular introduction to the quantum computing event held on February 5, 2021, and the relevance of this fascinating topic to the Government of Canada.
The first half of the event will explore the practical uses of quantum computers as well as some of the innovative projects being developed in this area. In the afternoon, participants will take a deeper, hands-on technical dive into personally programming a quantum computer.
