Social Media Implementation Strategy in the Government of Canada

Social Media Implementation Strategy in the Government of Canada

Ottawa, Ontario

February 15, 2013 | 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ET) | English

Social media tools have a great potential to transform the way public servants work and serve Canadians. In a world where social media can swiftly propel an issue into the spotlight, public servants' lead-time to provide advice and make decisions is shorter than ever.

This half-day workshop for supervisors and managers will feature presentations from guest speakers who have successfully implemented social media in their own organizations. They will cover key topics such as the best tools to use and why, when to use social media and the risks associated with implementing social media.
