The Virtual State
Three years ago, Estonia became the first country to offer "e-Residency," a digital identity platform that transcends borders. The e-Residency Programme creates a virtual state where global citizens can register to do business in an inclusive, transparent and legitimate manner.
The Programme also plans to issue crypto tokens or "estcoins" to e-residents, making it easier to do business and providing an incentive to invest in the country.
This event, hosted by the School in partnership with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, is your chance to hear from Kaspar Korjus, the Programme's Managing Director. Join us to hear about his groundbreaking work, how it is changing the idea of statehood and its potential to revolutionize access to government services for people around the world.
