Programme Cercle des jeunes leaders fédéral-provincial

Collaboration and knowledge transfer between federal and provincial government leaders is key to building a stronger executive rank within both levels of government. The program Cercle des jeunes leaders fédéral-provincial brings together executives from the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec to explore the realities of senior level leadership positions, federal-provincial relations, and how to effectively tackle challenges faced by both levels of government. Participants will engage in a variety of learning activities, including group training, individual exercises, mentoring and networking.

This program runs in collaboration with the École nationale d'administration publique (National School of Public Administration) and is only offered in French.

About the program

The program Cercle des jeunes leaders fédéral-provincial consists of Government of Canada executives at the EX-1 or EX-2 level, and Government of Quebec executives at levels 3 and 4. The composition of the group offers a unique opportunity for members to deepen their understanding of intergovernmental relations. The program, which is conducted in French, comprises a range of topics and activities, including mentoring.

How the program works

Participants meet in person for two days, every four to six weeks. These meetings alternate between Quebec City and Ottawa. The program runs for 12 months and includes a summer break.

An additional activity to present best practices in mentoring will be held in Ottawa for federal government executives and in Quebec City for provincial government executives.
