Frequently asked questions about the Federal-Provincial Young Leaders Circle Program

How do I register for the program?

To participate in the Federal-Provincial Young Leaders Circle Program, you must be nominated by either an assistant deputy minister or a deputy minister from your home department.

Is there a cost for participating in the program?

There is no fee for participating in the program; however, your home department is responsible for costs associated with travel, accommodations, and a 360° feedback assessment.

What is the time commitment for the program?

The program requires a total time commitment of approximately 120 hours of in-person classroom instruction (divided across 8 two-day sessions alternating between Ottawa and Quebec City), 30 hours to complete a group project, and 15 hours for mentoring.

Are there any prerequisites for this program?

No, there are no prerequisites for this program.

What are the language requirements for the program?

The program is delivered entirely in French. You must have at least a CBC linguistic profile when you are nominated for the program.

Will you be sharing information for the standing offer to facilitate access for our employees to the 360° feedback assessment?

Yes, we have the standing offer # E60PI-18LRNG/001/PI. For 360° feedback assessments, requests should be made via the Public Service Commission generic box at cfp.ce-360-ac.psc@cfp-psc.gc.ca, and you must specify in the request that it is for the Cercle des jeunes leaders fédéral-provincial (Federal-Provincial Young Leaders Circle). What is the cost per learner for a 360° feedback assessment?

With the standing offer, the price per unit is $697 for 360° feedback assessments.
