The Canada School of Public Service offers programs, courses, events and personalized support exclusively tailored to executives in the public service, whether they are new to their role or seasoned professionals. These learning opportunities focus on workplace practice and draw on the knowledge of experienced leaders and experts in the areas of leadership, innovation and decision making. Our aim is to help foster innovation, encourage collaboration and deliver tangible results for Canadians.

The New Directors Program helps you better understand your new role and what is expected of you as an executive in today's environment. Learn how to improve your skills as an executive leader so that you can effectively lead change and achieve results.

EX Talent Management Programs

The Executive Leadership Development Program for EX-01 to EX-03 gives senior public servants the opportunity to explore their leadership role in enabling innovation, fostering collaboration and delivering results for Canadians.

The Executive Leadership Development Program for EX-04 and EX-05 is a unique opportunity for participants to deepen their personal leadership in a trusted and well-integrated community of their peers.

Orientation for Assistant Deputy Ministers (LPL117)

The Orientation for Assistant Deputy Ministers (ADMs) (LPL117) supports recently appointed ADMs in transitioning to their new roles. This course provides an orientation for newly appointed ADMs to explore the expectations placed upon them and to strengthen their strategic leadership capabilities by sharing best practices with other experienced senior leaders.
