Faculty members

Faculty members include full-time and occasional instructors and facilitators, from the School and from across the federal public service. Faculty members are selected based on their knowledge, expertise and professional and lived experiences. Each faculty member must complete a training program on facilitation techniques, adult learning principles, and learning delivery modalities and technologies.

Canada School of Public Service faculty are School employees who work full-time as instructors and facilitators in our courses and programs. They provide ongoing advice and ideas on learning priorities and design based on the experience of learners in the classroom.

Canada School of Public Service associate faculty are employees of the School who teach part-time as a complement to their work in learning design and administration. Visiting faculty are subject matter experts from other federal organizations who teach at the School on an occasional basis as a complement to their work in their home department or agency.
